About Tweet Rhapsody

Q. Can I follow it on twitter?

Most certianly, simply search for and bookmark #tweetrhapsody on search.twitter.com. However sometimes you will not see all accounts, I don't know why, it seems to be a bug with twitter.

Q. What is Tweet Rhapsody?

It is a fictional conversation between six people over Twitter which forms a love story over 12 weeks (12 chapters). The format and medium is as important to the story as the events of the story itself. In other words, the story is as much about "twittering" and our use of social media as much as it is a story of love and culture clashes between Sri Lanka and Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Q. Who created Tweet Rhapsody?

Tweet Rhapsody is written by Duleepa Wijayawardhana. However, I must thank various friends who have helped me make this a reality. Once I get their permission to list them here, I will do so!

Q. Are the events that happen in Tweet Rhapsody based on real life events?

Only my friends and family know what is actually based on real life and what is not. Surprisingly a lot of it is not based on any real life event, character or conversation. This is after all a work of fiction.

Q. Is the story finished?

The story has a definitive story arc from June 22, 2009 and September 11, 2009. If you are reading this FAQ after the end date then the story is perhaps finished and if you want more, you will have to contact me. However, if you are in between you probably mean "have I finished writing it?" Much of the story has been written in advance, however, I'm hoping people will comment, interact or otherwise influence me on minor changes to the story, yes, YOU could be part of this story ;)

Q. Are you charging for this?

Since I expect only 3 people to read this, I can't be bothered :) If you want, you can send me cookies.

Q. How can I contact you to send you cookies, or berate you for idiocy?

You can email me at tweetrhapsody@dups.ca

Q. Are you insane?

Most of my friends seem to think so ;)
